Objective of the project is automating the database related routines tasks to reduce the dependency on DBA support and enable resources to focus on more strategic initiatives.You become part of this project, delivering the architectural designs leveraging the next generation technologies like Node-JS material (UI), Spring Boot, MongoDB, Scheduling software, JIRA, Confluence, ECS containers, Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc. You will lead the JIRA teams to plan and assign the work among the teams and assisting to deliver on time by providing technical guidance.You need to develop roadmaps to enhance the portal to include the industry best practices, expanding the capabilities/features with clear roadmap and milestones.
Responsibilities:- Gather the database automation requirements of high impact problems/projects, convert into applications (technical) requirement, and deliver innovative solutions with clearly defined architecture.
- Leverage industry best practices to reuse the code efficiently, utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
- and develop roadmaps to deliver the new features, new functionality, and capabilities
- Leverage expertise in database security and operational features to reduce risk and outages
- Develop simple project planning by defining the project deliverables and milestones, with timelines.
- Plan the JIRA backlogs and assign to developers and automation engineers
- Assist the developers and automation engineers to drive the efficiency and clear any technical, architectural and process related roadblocks
- Generate periodic reports for management updates
- Partner with DBAs and engineers to improve delivery of database products and features
- 5+ years of strong experience in Core Java/J2EE, Node-JS, Sprint Boot, Scripting languages like Python, Shell scripting, etc.
- Deep knowledge on Solution architect skills delivering end to end application design
- Strong knowledge on Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge on Databases of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB
- Experience developing Ansible playbooks is huge plus
- Experience using Jenkins, Bitbucket, CI/CD
- Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, JWT etc.)
- Knowledge of Containers, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Working experience in Agile projects
- Kafka or any messaging experience is nice to have
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and collaborate with ease
- Ability to manage development teams in agile development environment
- Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
