Responsible for specific projects on inbound and outbound shipments for ADD globally which drive down costs,improve cycle time,and customer performance while supervising a team in the logistics group. Plan,direct,and monitor domestic and international transportation activities while providing the best cost/service mix for shipments to/from our customers,suppliers,and affiliates.Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for Logistics Operations activities such as inquiries,billings,routing instructions,claims,inbound shipments,and manual shipments.
Oversee international customer service and booking process for ADD international ocean shipments.
Assure compliance by all departmental personnel.
Represent department in Quality audits.
Assure training program is kept up to date with current requirements as well as adherence to training requirements.
Initiate and lead projects to improve operations,costs,and/or service to our customers.
Qualifications:College degreein a logistics or business related field or 7 years of related experience.
