PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the company user community with regards to Connect, identify and resolve member impacting issues, take actions to correct data issues and prioritize IT development defects.
  • Operate as the voice of the customer to evaluate and identify where system enhancements are required and assist in new project and product features from ideation to launch.
  • Partner across the organization to identify opportunities or gaps and coordinate the development and execution of agreed upon priorities.
  • Reach out to end users and potential customers on a regular schedule. Develop and maintain understanding of customer workflows and processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to business owners as they advocate for their business needs in the development of business cases and product plans.
  • Define product requirements (roadmaps, workflows) for introduction to development teams. Write product requirements and usage scenarios.
  • Direct communication and training initiatives for enhanced functionality to impacted audiences.
  • Provide product management and change management assistance to business owners as needed to support new initiatives.
  • Identify and address needs for business process re-engineering and quality improvements.
  • Partner with QA teams to Test and validate functional specifications are being met during the development process.
  • Maintain documentation to assist in issue resolution and lifecycle management.
  • Manage product end of life and transitions where applicable.
  • Determine, monitor, and report customer usage metrics of key performance indicators
  • Benchmark product features as compared to key competitors in the marketplace, stay informed about the competitive position, and assist business owners in the development of business cases and product plans for new products and features.

EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B and B2C ecommerce or SAAS experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with web and mobile development products.
  • Prefer 5+ years’ experience in product management and development utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Product Marketing and experience with digital SMBs preferred.
  • Proven experience developing business case, product plans and financial analysis for new products in preparation for Senior Leadership review and prioritization.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in defining, leading and launching successful web and mobile B2B and B2C products.
  • Product Management training or Business Analyst certification highly desired.
  • Prior experience with CRM management, requirements definition and implementation a plus.
