This is a HANDS ON Architect! They want someone that can lead but also get in the weeds with team and help review code and give guidance. Will help layout architectural design of Salesforce and help technical teams.Essential Tasks Lead architecture design and support for Salesforce Ecommerce and an enterprise-wide web application portfolio, including third-party and custom applications for all departments. Turns guidance into pragmatic architecture via proof of concepts, architectural diagrams and process/data flows. Lead the projects from technical standpoint and Provide guidance and direction to application development and technical designers Define application development objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and third-party application development vendors. Application performance optimization and tuning best practices. Administer technical elements of 3rd party web solutions for the company (such as Salesforce.com, Service now etc.) Monitor trends in technology; research, validate, and build recommendations to implement new technologies, frameworks, or methodologies. Ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirement Perform design and code reviews Develop and Support Web applications and Ecommerce solutions Create prototypes, mockups, and staging sites for review and feedback Optimize websites and applications to ensure that performance of the solutions is optimal Maintain technical documentation with all the technical details and proper visual diagrams (Flowcharts, Diagram and layouts) for ease of understanding. Creates clear and concise comments in code to aid understanding by other developers Analyzes production issues to determine problem source and recommend solutions Assists in code reviews and code deployments Requirements Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience. 5 to 7 years of experience implementing Salesforce Ecommerce and Enterprise Web Application Solutions preferably in industrial distribution industry 2+ years of experience in Architecting the Salesforce Ecommerce and Enterprise level Web Application Solutions Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support business objectives Extensive experience with web technologies, specifically Salesforce B2B Commerce or other Ecommerce technologies. Experience with Salesforce.com development and administration. Experience with implementation of Web-services Strong software systems design skills and familiarity with the current industry best practices. #salesforce #ecommerce #b2bNote: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
