- Working with UX researchers, product designers, product managers, and others to identify where we can improve user experiences through informative, engaging language across a variety of contexts from UI components to conversational interactions and help content.
- Intake and understand complex requirements and problems and distill the appropriate customer-centric content solution.
- Deliver copy to our design and engineering teams and work with them to ensure a high-quality implementation.
- Contribute to the development of a mature content management system and process that includes working with QA, Legal and localization teams to ensure copy appears properly for every audience
- Ensure content complies with our client’s brand standards, style guide, and maintains platform-wide consistency.
- Raise the bar for all product communication, driving consistency and further developing our voice and tone guidelines as part of our wider foundational design system
- Present your ideas to stakeholders by telling a story and framing decisions in strong rationales grounded in UX theory and research; be willing and able to adapt to feedback without sacrificing simplicity and the user experience.
- Test and iterate on content by partnering with UX research.
- Work autonomously in producing high-quality deliverables through all phases of the project. If you don’t have answers, you’ll reach out to get them. Insert yourself into discussions that are important to your work; if you don’t see a metaphorical seat at the table, pull one up without hesitation.
- Bring your love of words and language, along with your passion for style, grammar, tone, and voice, to everything you do.
- Evolve our design practice by coaching your colleagues to help them understand best practices around copy and content and implement standards.
