If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).Role Responsibilities:-Impact the engineering\operation function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services and hands-on Development-Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap-Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements-Recommend product customization for system integration-Work directly with clients/partner application teams to drive rollout of tools, educate teams, and assist with adoption-Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes-Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and servicesBasic Qualifications:- 7+ years of programming experience on data platforms- Design and development of big data platforms- Data processing technology stacks: Spark, HBase, Hive and other Hadoop ecosystem technologies and development using Scala or Java.- Streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing-Agile development methods including core values, guiding principles, and key agile practices- Continuous Integration/Delivery- Relational databases, SQL and PLSQLPreferences/Nice to have:- NoSQL technologies including column family, graph, document, and key-value data storage technologies- Financial IndustryEducation:-Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience"Employees in this role must be full vaccinated for COVID-19, subject to applicable law."#INDFSINS#L1-NAMAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a global business and IT services provider specializing in digital, cloud and automation across a comprehensive portfolio of consulting, applications, infrastructure and business process services.
