Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Designs and Develops Machine Learning and Data Science solution for 7-11 Retail problems. Automates Data pipelines and develops different libraries for Statistical Algorithms that helps interactions between 7-11 stores, customers and products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Designs and Develops Machine Learning and Data Science solution for 7-11 Retail problems.

· Automates Data pipelines and develops different libraries for Statistical Algorithms that helps interactions between 7-11 stores, customers and products.

· Developing and implementing different ML libraries and builds data pipelines to solve different problems related to supply chain management, dynamic pricing, customer preference etc.

· Understand member or customer churn and help team model at-risk groups and prevent shopping behavior.

· Create and build predictive models and analytic systems.

· Participating in designing new data applications, writing performant queries for both SQL and NoSQL DB

· Create actionable insight reports supported with data visuals and test performance of data-driven actions.

· Lead a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and big data specialists by owning end to end deliverables.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Masters

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 7+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· Expert knowledge of Big Data technologies including but not limited to Python, SQL, Apache Spark/Databricks.

· Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.

· Experience with big data and Deep Learning.

· Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Solid understanding of version control and software development principles. Sharing a Github repo with us is one of the best ways to showcase your skills in this area.

· Experience in advance analytics, large scale and complicated database and comprehensive data wrangling.

· Solid foundation in statistics

· Knowledgeable in cloud platforms (preferable AWS: both traditional EC2 and serverless Lambda), micro-services. architecture, CI/CD solutions (including Docker), DevOps principles, message queue system.

· Masters with relevant 7+ years experience is prefered. Maths/Stats/Comp Science PhD will be a plus.
