Job responsibilities:Strong Knowledge on Python and ability to automate manual tasks – Python scripting.
Implement solutions provided by Automation Architects and Sr. DevOps team members.
Identify and proactively make recommendations for continuous improvement on DevOps services provided.
Develop and maintain build scripts to automate deployments for multiple environments including DEV/TEST, QA, and PROD.
Work with QA team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipeline.
Troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces
Active in the innovation required to evaluate and engage newer automation and deployment.
Work in an agile development team with emerging technologies and changing business needs.
Experience in Full Stack development using TypeScript, React and NodeJS would be an added advantage.
Experience using tools such as AppDynamics, ELK and Splunk.
Experience coding in scripting languages such as Groovy, PowerShell, Bash and Shell script
Ability to automate software builds and release configurations
Experience with application infrastructure like IIS, WebSphere, IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, caching technologies, etc.
Strong Knowledge on SonarQube , TeamCity, Jenkins and Artifactory
Maintenance of automated tooling code in PowerShell, shell, python or similar scripting language
Managing continuous build, test and deploy processes
Maintaining and enhancing the automated continuous integration and continuous delivery environment using concepts such as pipeline as code.
Work closely with Dev team to analyze, review and clarify design and architecture on Tools implementation, Build and Deploy automation
Ability to perform Root cause analysis and document – Incident and Problem management
POC of Tools, Techniques as desired, Evaluating and adopting new tools to improve build and release processes
Qualifications:4+ years industry experience in DevOps Engineering related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation
3+Source Code Management, Continuous Integration/Delivery Solutions expertise. Knowledge of either: (Git, Bitbucket, Udeploy )
3+ years of experience on TeamCity, Jenkins, SonarQube and UDeploy.
3+ years of experience on Perl and Python.
2+ years of experience on Ansible
2+ Years of experience on Repository Management tools (Artifactory/Nexus )
Strong scripting skill (Java/Shell Scripting is preferred)
Strong Documentations skills to prepare build/deployment/POC Documents.
Knowledge on OpenShift/Kubernetes/AWS/Cloud is preferred.
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Education:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
