Job Overview:The Citi Global Compute Services organization is responsible for architecting scalable, secure application and automation platforms. You will be part of a team building a seamless experience that allows our teams to develop on any platform without worrying about the underlying infrastructure or its integrations. We are developing Automation solutions to quickly allow our developers, systems engineers to code, test and deploy configuration management solutions to production through IaC pipelines, APIs.You will get to work hands-on with industry leading tools and platforms at extreme scale. We want people to challenge management, voice their opinions, and ultimately drive our strategy.
Responsibilities:- Work with stakeholders and infrastructure teams to deliver transformational solutions leveraging Global Compute services automation tools
- Architect and engineer the infrastructure and configuration of automation platforms with a very strong focus on infrastructure as code
- Partner with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules
- Working with multiple vendors and getting new products delivered in time to meet organizational goals.
- Take ownership of issues and provide technical leadership in providing real-world solutions
- Help in establishing DevOps model and driving solution architecture and best practices
- Advocate for and ensure appropriate security best practices are developed and implemented across Automation services
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Configuration, Build, Deployment, Release Management and Infrastructure Design is required
- 4+ years scripting using Ruby, Bash, Python and PowerShell is required
- In-depth expertise Expert level understanding in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Chef is required
- 2+ years of administering Ansible Tower 3.x is required
- 5+ years of knowledge in RedHat Enterprise Linux versions 6 through 8 (yum, rpm, kickstart, ssh, sudo) is required
- Specialist knowledge of CI/CD systems like Jenkins or Harness is required
- Knowledge of Unix (AIX and Solaris) is preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of identity management and access control systems (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, PowerBroker, PAM, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of containers and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Intermediate knowledge of virtualization and hypervisors (VMWare)
- Intermediate knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk AIM
- Fundamental understanding of enterprise security practices is a plus
- RESTful web API implementation and management experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge in enabling technologies such as API Gateways is a plus
- Knowledge of log mining & analytics tools Splunk or Elastic is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
