SQL Server Database Build and Delivery DBA

As part of CTI Global Database Services Onboarding team, you will participate in progressive change, transforming disparate legacy database build and project processes into new Global standards, driving simplification, automation and innovation.You will work as part of a global team to deliver SQL Server DB server infrastructure - both dedicated and DBaaS - through to successful project Go Live. You will represent the SQL Database team on Business Projects in collaboration with partners including Project Management, Solution Architects, Application Teams, and OS Delivery team. You will deliver database infrastructure built to global specifications and standards, and support the application team while testing, through Production Go Live.

• SQL Server Database Infrastructure Delivery
• Project tracking and reporting - server build and overall project status

• Partner with Regional PMO, Solutions Architects, Application, and Server Delivery teams to deliver robust, reliable, secure database systems built to global standards
• Deliver servers on time, according to project timeline
• Project tracking and status reporting
• Attend Project calls and DB Build team meetings
• Support project throughout project life cycle to Go Live and BAU handover
• Identify and remediate roadblocks, delays, issues in timely manner
• Identify and propose innovative solutions to solve chronic issues or provide new capabilities to improve process and time to market

• 5-8 years of technical experience using and supporting relational databases on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo knowledge a plus

• Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

• Bachelors/University degree
