Position: Sr Android Engineer Location: Irving, Texas Duration: 6+ months The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for developing mobile apps for the Android platform. Must have strong Java and good Kotlin skills. Agile / Scrum experience also needed. Additional Skills: Java, Kotlin, Agile / Scrum (Jira is a plus) Responsibilities: Collaborate with UX Designers, Business Analysts and Product Managers Participate in daily scrums, product demos and sprint retrospectives Design, build and test Android apps Qualifications: Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree Experience: 5, Android Software Development. Proficient with Android SDK. Experience with Java and Kotlin for Android development. Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning. Good understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines. Experience with RESTful API integration.
