Tableau Developer BravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks talented Tableau Developer for a contract to hire role in the Dallas, TX area. The qualified candidates must have at least 5+ years' experience. We are seeking a talented individual who will be part of the BI team, supporting the Tableau environment, content, and end-users. The team is also focused on enabling self-service reporting & data visualization, and helping other teams deliver value through data. Able to assist users with complex scenarios in Tableau Desktop & Server, guiding them on how to resolve their questions Establish, communicate, and drive best practices for Tableau, and help ensure standards are being met Apply broad technical knowledge, judgement and analytical skills to analyze, develop and implement solutions for process improvements, troubleshooting, and production support related to Tableau Involved in developing and executing training initiatives for end-users Process ad-hoc data and reporting requests/enhancements, including maintenance of existing reports & dashboards Conduct performance tuning for Tableau and SQL views Work with business partners to gather and develop analytics/reporting requirements and enable Tableau visualizations and workbooks. This work can involve understanding data requirements, creation/modification of database views, as well as development in Tableau. Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop - Able to assist users with complex capabilities guiding them on how to resolve their questions Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations Ability to use scripting languages to leverage Tableau' s APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API).
