TITLE: Data Software Engineer Location: Hybrid in Irving, Texas Compensation Range : $55-$58/hour
ICS, a Korn Ferry company, is looking for Software Engineers with a focus around data, for key enterprise data platform projects on our client's team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area!What You'll Do:- Design scalable, reliable, and performant systems to manage data
- Work with engineers from across the organization
- Build quality systems while expanding offerings to dependent teams
- Implement observability in the form of metrics, logging, and monitoring
- Consume data from any source, such a flat files, streaming systems, or RESTful APIs
- Collaborate closely with team members, including Project Managers, as a technical mentor and leader
- 6+ years of data engineering experience with SQL:
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Spark
- Designed, maintained, and expanded with cloud systems ; Azure highly preferred
- Knowledge of distributed SQL systems
- Management of data pipelining with batch, stream, event, or API driven systems
- Used metrics and monitoring systems for real-time observability
- Expansive use of relational and non-relational databases
- Strong communication skills
