Job Description

As a key team member on the Automotive Digital Solutions team, the

Sr. SEM Strategist will partner with Account Leads, Technical Teams, Sr. Director of Campaign Operations, Manager of Campaign Operations, and other internal stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver innovative digital marketing products that drive digital differentiation for our clients.

Strong candidates will have a proven track record of defining the best in class digital solutions spanning SEM, Display, Retargeting, Social and Video programs, working in a collaborative cross-functional context, and using data to drive decision-making for optimal marketing results. Automotive marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of both standard Paid Search & Social campaigns using Google, Bing, and Facebook ad platforms
  • Responsible for building search, social, display and other digital based campaigns while looking for ways to scale operational processes across multiple products and clients.
  • Understand optimization tactics as they related to client goals and performance metrics analysis
  • Ensure the customer voice is present throughout the product development life cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure optimal solution delivery and campaign strategy for digital products
  • Ensure timely product launches and ongoing optimization strategies and communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Provide reporting to Manager of Campaign Operations for the digital product team and manage development status, issues, and escalations
  • Work and prioritize within timelines; coordinate work-steams across teams and channels
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating and communicating with internal team to field questions and requests from our external clients
  • Stay current with Google and Facebook new features and best practices

Qualifications
  • 3-4 years in experience working in Paid Search
  • Certifications within Google Ads and Bing is required
  • Proven track-record: past projects were consistently successful (i.e. met the consumer's need, met business objectives, delivered on-time with no/few surprises)
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways
  • Working experience within Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics for paid media marketing objectives
  • Experience working within a task manager system is highly preferred
  • Deadline and detail oriented, with the ability to handle multi-faceted task lists
  • Superior critical thinking and quantitative analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • High-energy, positive, team-first mentality
