Job Description

Epsilon PeopleCloud Loyalty is looking for a Lead AWS/DevOps Developer to be a part of one of our scrum development teams. As part of this team you will be building and working on enterprise grade software systems leveraging .Net, .Net Core, Angular, RESTful Web Services, Java and Cloud Automation Technologies (Azure and AWS).

Roles and Responsibilities: • Create and maintain cloud infrastructure as code and provision AWS environments for product teams.• Create and maintain cloud infrastructure as code and provision Azure environments for product teams.• Create configuration management scripts• Implement Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation (CFN), Terraform, Ansible etc.• Experience with Zero downtime deployments on AWS with canary, blue-green and rolling deployments• Security Configuration• Understanding of the Cloud Security tooling landscape and has experience integrating various Cloud Security tools together to provide end to end application lifecycle management• Work with different teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in production environment in AWS• Troubleshoot and fix configuration issues as and when required and Document/communicate the resolution notes to other team members• This position will also coordinate with operations teams, architects, and QA Teams to validate configuration with industry standard best practices before they are placed into production.• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.• Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Advise and mentor team members in specialized technical areas as well as fulfill administrative duties as defined by the support process

Skills Required: • Experience with the core AWS services.• Good background in Linux/Unix administration.• Experience with programming and infrastructure automation (e.g. C#, Java, Phyton).• Experience with Terraform• CI/CD pipeline experience• Linux, Windows, Relational Databases (SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL.• Hands on experience of AWS cloud and configuration management tools.• Experience with automation tools, GoCD, scripting (Python, Boto3, Bash, etc.)• Must have experience with all Azure cloud components including Azure Databricks, Presto, AKS (Kubernetes), App Services• Migrating experience with existing on-premises application to AWS.• Working knowledge of web application architectures• Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the organization goals.• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
