What you get to do in this role:
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks
  • Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
  • Demonstrable experience in test automation role
  • Work closely with developers and Product Owner within an agile team to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
  • Create comprehensive test plans, testcases, execute and automate them

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:
  • 4+ years of experience extensively into automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG
  • Must have experience with Eclipse, Selenium, Jenkin, Maven and Git
  • Fluency with scripting in JavaScript.
  • Demonstrable experience of testing within Web Technologies and API-related space
  • Understanding of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, source control, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft applications, Toad, SQL, Soap UI) to assist with daily tasks
  • Must be very hands on, passionate about quality and willing to collaborate with multiple teams during testing
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
