May 10, 2019Location:Johnson City, TX, US, 78636Position Closes on May 23, 2019.Position Summary:This position is responsible for the testing, implementation and support of technology, i.e., Java, Windows, Android, iOS, MultiSpeak, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases and SharePoint applications in support of the Cooperative’s strategic initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare technical requirements documents, meet and collaborate with end users and guide them through how technology is applied to their business scenarios
Work within the Information Technology Department to champion business technology needs through the use of existing systems, future technology and programs.
Partner with key business experts to ensure processes meet business objectives and integrate with other functional areas and applications that are planned for and implemented
Organize and conduct business process reviews with business users, stakeholders and external vendors
Review of documentation created by peers and Business Analysts.
Write detailed functional and technical specifications to be used by the developers
Perform functional testing, i.e., unit, string, process control, security testing, regression, etc. as required to test existing, new or updated functionality
Assist the Cooperative with determining criteria for testing new processes or enhancements to current ERP system
Provide second and third tier support to end users for applications through detailed analysis and troubleshooting of issues reported by end users
Provide work and status updates to management
Maintain the security of confidential information
Stay abreast of advances in technology
Supervisory and/or Leadership Responsibilities: May provide technical direction to othersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data, configuration, or processing information
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
Knowledge of SQL Report development for business datasets across two or more core business functions
Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle
Skilled in time management
Skilled in prioritizing and managing changing priorities
Ability to lead process reviews and or enhancement efforts
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing
Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze and resolve conflict and problems
Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure):
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or technology related field OR
Six years experience working in a related computer information system environment with emphasis in business analysis and process improvement
Directly related experience may substitute for education
Two hands-on technical implementations
Valid Driver’s License
