- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing or relevant field of study required
- Certified Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) preferred
- Over 5 years of analysis experience including demonstrated experience in leading system changes and system analysis, preferably in the retail industry
- Proven experience in process mapping / process flows / process modeling required
- Analytical bent of mind, good ability to listen and communicate and effectively articulate
- Improve business operations to meet company goals by championing effective projects / initiatives across IT and business partners
- Study and analyze business functions, processes and technology used to identify opportunities
- Lead workshops of business and IT to understand process gaps, viable solutions and document business requirements
- Assist business partners prioritize work based on impact
- Critique project proposals to ensure overall quality of design and execution
- Understand technical designs and provide functional guidance to the IT development team to ensure effective designs that meet project requirements
- Define Key Business Elements needed measure return on investment and impact to business partners
- Update and maintain application data, system health assessments, disaster recovery plans as part of System Management responsibilities.
- Develop the schedules and corresponding functional/data requirements for subsequent implementation/execution phase
- Integrate with various other development and support (Data Governance – Metadata, Lineage, Data Quality, Data Provisioning etc.) teams to provide guidance
- Provide guidance in designing SQA and UAT test scenarios and test cases ensuring adequate coverage of fringe and expected cases, documenting the requirements traceability matrix
- Participate in production of testing schedule and perform validations
