Job Description:Education:- Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
- 5+ years of people leadership in eCommerce Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Distribution & Logistics, or Store Operations required
- Skilled in leading high-performing teams, with an emphasis on setting clear expectations, providing direct and timely feedback, and promoting a culture of accountability
- Skilled at developing the team one on one: performance feedback, career pathing, and professional development
- Excellent time management and delegation skills, with the ability to leverage the team to support multiple concurrent initiatives and manage significant amounts of change
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
- Ability to effectively partner and build relationships with teams spanning a variety of functions, including but not limited to: Stores, DCs, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance
- Strong understanding of the way eCommerce fits into a retailer's omnichannel strategy
- Proven ability to accurately analyze data and use learnings to make data-driven business decisions
- Advanced level of functional understanding and problem-solving ability - adept at diagnosing systems issues
- Leads by example, modeling a passion for the business and demonstrating a proactive, solutions-oriented style
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and achieve desired business outcomes, often without formal authority
- Highly adaptable to the changing needs of a growing business in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Manage all aspects of the customer journey post "Place Order" on Academy.com: Fraud Review/Validation, Order Sourcing, Order Fulfillment, Returns Management
- Manage and support all aspects of the Ship from Store (SFS), Ship from DC (SFDC), Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPIS), Ship to Store (STS), and Drop Ship programs
- Accountable for partnering with DC, Store, and Vendor teams to maintain fulfillment SLAs and other key KPIs
- Responsible for driving fulfillment strategy - growing capability set to offer customers multiple fulfillment options while maximizing operational efficiency and managing associated costs (e.g., labor, ship cost, packaging materials)
- Responsible for Fraud prevention - maximizing sales while protecting the company from fraudulent activity
- Responsible for P&L management of key line items, including Ship Cost, Ship Income, and Credit Card Chargebacks
- Responsible for partnering with fulfillment teams to minimize order cancellations and maximize fulfilled sales
- Responsible for setting and managing to annual departmental budget
- Maintain healthy vendor relationships with key external technology/service partners
- Identify the need for specific change initiatives and lead implementations from a business perspective
- Keep abreast of emerging retail and fulfillment technologies and whether these tools can be leveraged at ASO
- Work closely with Customer Service and Fulfillment teams to ensure alignment across the organization
- Leverage customer feedback to improve internal processes and improve customer experience
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Academy's policies, procedures, and safety rules
