Looking for a part-time. PRN caregiver for my 20 yo special needs son with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Disabilities, Visual Impairment in Harker Heights. Ideal match will meet the requirements below. You MUST be active and like outdoors. You will be Involved in activities daily NOT just watching ex YMCA, walking, cooking, library, chores, shopping, meal prep, special Olympics, and so much more. No teen caregivers need to apply, ideal attendant is 21 to 30 years old. This is NOT a babysitting job. You must be able to come up with creative ways of helping him to become a young adult. You MUST have your own transportation available for the entire shift as you will pick him up from school and take him places. We do have 3 mid size friendly dogs, that like people and to be petted. During school hours are 4p-9p and some weekends 8-12 hour shifts. We have 2 caregivers but are looking for call-in/holiday/maternity leave coverage so the days will vary around his primary attendants shifts. The pay is every 2 weeks paid via direct deposit from a waiver program with the state.
