Our client, a Clinical/Medical Organization is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $20-$26/hr (depending on experience)

Position Overview: Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for conducting clinical trials using good clinical practice (GCP)

Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Coordinator:

Recruits, screens, and consents subjects for research studies

Collects baseline and follow up data from subjects

Checks for validity and accuracy of data ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and clinical relevance

Performs data collection by conducting research interviews

Establishes and maintains database files and progress reports for studies, projects and programs

May perform data analysis and interpretation

Schedules patients for appointments and visits

Performs quality control checks on all source documentation

Enters clinical data into study database and resolves all data queries generated by study team

Collects specimens (nasal swabs and blood draws, if capable) from research subjects in accordance with protocol and regulatory guidance

Ships specimens as requested and identified in the protocol

Individual must be International Air Transport Association (IATA) trained

Qualifications for the Clinical Research Coordinator:

Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures

Ability to understand and follow scientific research protocol and procedures

Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards

Ability to understand and apply specified field and/or laboratory research procedures and protocols

Computer data entry skills

Skill in the use of computer spreadsheet and/or database applications in the compilation of research data

Ability to analyze, evaluate, verify, and edit research data

Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times a MUST

Minimum Experience: 1 to 2 years of clinical research experience

Physical Capabilities: long periods of standing and sitting

Education Requirements:

Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelors degree (appropriate professional and/or military experience in a related field may satisfy this requirement)
