Pump and Motor Technician

less thanh1>GENERAL STATEMENT:less than/h1>less thanp>Pump and Motor Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the daily and emergency preventative maintenance needs of the city including various pumps, motors, and controls, standby generators and related systems. Areas of work may be at any of the water and wastewater facilities throughout the city. Potential candidates must have a strong background in electrical systems troubleshooting, motor diagnostics, and general maintenance of such systems. Technician must be able to exercise sound judgment in times of crisis, and effectively communicate with other city staff and elected officials as needed. The City of Kyle Public Works Department operations are performed 24/7, 365 days a year. This position is required to be on an on-call rotation.
