Our warehouses are located in Brea, and Los Angeles, CA; N. Monroe, NJ; Portland, OR; Houston and Laredo TX.Duties/Responsibilities:
Assesses inventory reports and order patterns.
Provides inventory reports to operations and inventory control manager.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made in the system.
Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the inventory control manager.
Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, customer service, and outside vendors.
Basic understanding of inventory control and audit procedures.
Proficient computer skills
Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
Analytical skills.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
At least two years of experience in a related area required.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.Hourly Rate:
$15 - $16 per hour
