The Role

As an ERP Controller, you will direct all operational accounting functions, from establishing and maintaining company's accounting principles, practices, and procedures, to analyzing all budgets/reports and recommending improvement processes. You will have a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, as well as the creativity and latitude to perform them. In addition, you will work closely with the company ERP system to drive process improvements and optimizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all financial planning and analysis, including cost accounting activities, such as reviewing manufacturing standard costs and FIFO inventory calculations for 2 plants
  • Preparing and managing the filing of accurate accounting and financial reports, ensuring that they are compliant with GAAP and internal financial/IT controls
  • Managing net working capital, collecting AP and credit, and processing month-end closing
  • Spearheading KPIs for profit improvement by designing analytical reporting
  • Driving ERP system changes to improve inventory controls and cost optimizations
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance

You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years experience in operations finance
  • Experience reporting to Operations Management
  • Experience and strong knowledge in manufacturing, operations, and material costing
  • You have experience and understanding with continuous improvement philosophy (LEAN, Six Sigma)
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (INFOR Syteline preferred) and advanced skills in MSOffice applications
  • Strong problem solving and team building skills
