Some front office/medical experience PREFERRED, but NOT required.
Busy pediatric doctor office seeking FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC, organized, and self motivated PHONE OPERATOR. Professional and courteous demeanor a MUST. Must be able to work MON-FRI 8AM- 5PM
Duties will include: Training provided
Answering all incoming calls, greeting patients and guests in our office.
Collecting demographic information and entering info into an EMR system.
Verifying insurance by phone and online.
Informing patients/parents of balances and copays.
Insurance authorizations and referral processing.
Scheduling appointments and follow up visits.
Maintaining office clean and tidy.
Must have valid DL, high school diploma/GED.
