Onin Staffiing is currently hiring for a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic greater McAllen area.
Leading manufacturer has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic. Will be responsible for facility maintenance, machine maintenance, preventative work on equipment and basic repairs
Company is looking for a long term placement that they can bring on permanently
PAY: $13-15/hr based on experience
SHIFTS: 1st shift (must be flexible)
JOB DUTIES:
Mechanical / Electrical
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery using schematics.
- Knowledge of motor components and controls, both 3-phase and low voltage.
- Knowledge of installation of conduit and related fittings.
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and related components.
- Repair and replacement of lighting circuits and components.
Hydraulics / Pneumatics
- Practical knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems and related controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems as needed.
- Repair and rebuild hydraulic / pneumatic components and compressors.
General
- Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience in the following areas and be able to show experience:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery using schematics.
- Knowledge of motor components and controls, both 3-phase and low voltage.
- Knowledge of installation of conduit and related fittings.
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and related components.
- Repair and replacement of lighting circuits and components.
- General understanding of fluid systems (pumps, valves, etc.)
- General welding experience
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions.
- General knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment.
