Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

Shifts Available:

7:00 a.m. “ 3:00 p.m.

2:30 p.m. “ 11:00 p.m.

11:00 p.m. “ 7:00 a.m.

(Must be able to work any one of these shifts)

Summary

This position will be responsible for achieving established department goals as well support company goals. Repairs lines, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, die cast machines, brush and grinding machines, and all other production machines and equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain plant facilities such, equipment, machinery (if apply buildings) involving structural installations and complicated types of mechanical and electrical installations.

Diagnose, dismantle, repair and reassemble from mechanical aspect as well as diagnose, repair, and modify components on electrical/electronic circuitry.

Make conventional types of new installations as directed, replace, repair and exchange component parts including the welding of breaks in machines, tools, fixtures, making replacement parts, scraping, fitting and aligning of parts as required for satisfactory performance after reassembly. Repair or replaces defective parts. Installation of special functional and structural parts in devices.

Operate and observe new and repaired installations to check performance before release for operation.

Layout and fabricate sheet metal installations such as exhaust systems, air intake ducts, guards, and other sheet metal work.

Level, align, lay out new and relocated equipment as required. Inspect electrical systems for security and proper installation.

Troubleshoot three phase electrical systems and recommend positive corrective action and repair.

Work with PLC based control systems to diagnose and correct problems with industrial equipment, machine tools, and conveyor systems.

Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Start devices to test their performance. Troubleshoot and repair of electrical equipment by performing such duties as checking amperage, voltage, and resistance checks. Troubleshooting single phase and three phase motors as well as eddy current drives and DC drive circuits.

Troubleshoot and of hydraulic and pneumatic components: valves, cylinders, accumulators, flow control device, pressure sensing devices.

Perform Preventive Maintenance and Lubrication inspections and repairs per schedule.

Must understand, believe, support and promote safety in the work place.

Attention to Detail; Accomplishes tasks and processes accurately and completely.

Coordination; Work Follows instructions through a standard work process; performs routine tasks; checks work for accuracy before completion of tasks. Perform related duties as assigned and assist other maintenance personnel as required.

Client/Customer Service, Develops and maintains strong relationships with departments by listening to the client/customer and understanding and responding to identified needs.

This position may be required to perform additional roles based on HR Matrix

Education or Experience:

EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent related experience 3+ years.

EXPERIENCE: Experienced welder, machinist, programmer is desired.

TRAINING: Licensed electrician is a plus.

Mathematical Skills:

Individuals must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals and use a four-function calculator.

Reading Skills:

Individuals must be able to read and write at a high school level.

Reasoning Abilities:

Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to walk, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. Occasionally it is required lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Able to withstand extreme temperatures up to 110 plus degrees Fahrenheit. The employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
