Funding and Salary: Rohtek will fund and pay a base salary to ideal candidate.
Job Description
Seeking an Outside Sales Professional to assist in the growth of the McAllen area marketplace. Qualified applicant must have experience with technical sales and engineering specifically in the Electrical Controls and Automation industries. Applicant will be responsible for actively driving and managing the territory through support of distribution and direct accounts. Applicant must be willing to start their own company to grow product sales in the marketplace; positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
Able to open own Rep firm and provide full time support to its business and sales growth needs
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs/RFQs
Able to convey customer requirements to multiple manufacturers
Able to train distribution sales personnel on products and sales methods
Able to travel throughout sales territory.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of Automation and Controls. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (other Engineering Disciplines Acceptable) preferred or equivalent work experience
3-5+ years relevant experience in technical sales
Experience and familiarity of Human Machine Interface (HMI) products and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) a plus - Industrial Automation and Controls
Firsthand knowledge of the industrial markets in assigned area
Demonstrated ability to build long term relationships with customers
Competitive results oriented person with proven record of success
