FSQA ManagerKelly services is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager for one of our top clients in food production in the north Dallas area. The FSQA Manager works on continuous improvements in existing products and new product launches, provides guidance for program modifications and improved food safety prerequisite programs to reduce FSI’s, CCP deviations, pest control, environmental control and sanitation.Responsibilities: Supports and contributes to the SQF program with the SQF (Safe Quality Foods) Knowledgeable in Preventative Controls to provide continuous improvement for a growth company. In the absence of the Primary SQF Practitioner, the manager can complete the following: Responsible for the validation of all food safety and quality programs. Authorizes all changes to food safety programs prior to implementation. Improves the SQF program and be SQF audit ready all the time Chairs the cross functional SQF Committee. Manages and improves metrics for food safety prerequisite programs. SQF Team Participant; team responsible for maintaining existing and implementation of any new programs. Drives continuous improvement of food safety KPI’s. Manages any outside audits from customers, and SQF within facility. Manage food safety complaint analysis and communicates actions to customers as needed. Manages product hold program, including making decisions regarding questionable product. HACCP Program maintenance, including implementation of new HACCP plans for new product lines. Leads HACCP Team. Manages all daily responsibilities of the QA staff over three shifts, assuring that there are no lapses in coverage. Administers and/or attends necessary meetings pertaining to food safety and HACCP meetings. Trains all QA employees in their essential duties, as well as keeping them informed of any changes to the system. Conducts investigation into root cause of customer complaints and takes measures to prevent recurrence. Generates and maintains reports related to FSQA. Must adhere to posted GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) when working within the production facility. If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s). Oversees the execution of validation and verification activities for food safety programs.Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. H.A.C.C.P. Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification or Equivalent.
