The Social Media Field Trainer is, at heart, a teacher. They are able to communicate with people of all experience levels in a clear concise manner to help them understand social media. This extroverted instructor travels across the country using their public presentation skills to teach our insurance agencies how to optimize and effectively use their social media. In this role, the Social Media Field Trainer will be the voice of our brand to the field. They will help provide consistency of brand, and explain the value of recommended social media practices as directed by the Social Media Manager. They will also capture images of the agencies to add to social media, Google, and microsites. This person will help us Make Tomorrow Better for our customers, brand, and the communities we serve.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Travel across the country to agencies teaching them how to implement effective social media strategies.
  • Be an outgoing culture ambassador to foster engagement.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager and social team to coordinate strategy to the field.
  • Effectively present brand standards and capabilities of Google Business pages, microsites, and social media pages to the field as directed by the Social Media Manager.
  • Take photographs of agencies to add to Google, microsites, and social media pages for agencies.
  • Proactively stay on top of the latest content requirements and trends in social media

Required Skills:
  • Must possess a passion for social media and digital marketing industry.
  • Must enjoy frequent travel across the country.
  • Must be an outgoing public presenter.
  • Must be a proficient social media photographer.
  • Effective communicator with management and team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Show enthusiasm and initiative taking on new projects.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint; experience with Excel a plus.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere.
  • Strong proofreading and writing skills are required with attention to detail.
  • Thrive working under pressure.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in social media, graphic design, or digital marketing from four-year college or university.
  • Must have 1-2 years of professional experience in social media design.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Premiere and/or video editing experience a plus.
