- Develops, implements, and promotes tools and functionality on the Azure Data Platform to facilitate data-driven decision making and automation utilizing modern programming tools such as Python, Azure Cloud Services, and the Microsoft Power Platform; Predictive analytics, Statistical models and algorithms and Machine learning
- Engages with business units to assess audit and compliance deficiencies, determine root causes, and implement solutions
- Creates and maintains the Data Dictionary for the Azure Data Platform
- Refines and optimizes Database Management Practices.
- Configures and maintains on-premise and cloud data sources, ensuring security compliance baselines are met for user/access control, health, performance, BCP/DR, etc.
- Works with DevOps to assist with deployment and configuration of data integration and management code
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in the development of stochastic models and machine learning algorithms, preferably in the financial services industry.
- 5+ years database management, modeling and architecture
- Experienced in the implementation of Agile methodologies
- Strong background working with the Microsoft SQL Server stack
- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure Data technologies
- Experience in highly regulated environments such as Financial Services; GLBA, SOX, SCC
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and higher
- Microsoft PowerShell
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure DevOps
- Python, with an emphasis on Pandas and Numpy
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Intermediate C#
- Ability to work autonomously to successfully meet goals within expected timelines
