You would create and define systems scope and objectives in this role. You would provide guidance on developing or altering applications or databases, employing research and fact-finding techniques. Works with other programmers to correct code problems- Reviews user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Records functional requirements and analyzes cost, feasibility and utility. Makes suggestions regarding how, when and whether to make the changes- Helps create communication content for certain system changes being implemented in production- Build and evaluate programming changes prior to implementation for each systems development phase. Record test cases and expected outcomes. Ensure that requirements are met. May create simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May suggest acceptance/rejection in cases where not all requirements are met- Guides internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting programming problems. Provides consultation through troubleshooting and/or education- Builds and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst- Evaluates processing procedures and suggests ways to improve- Supports end users and other partner groups, providing ongoing training and assistance for a particular application, system or process Requirements - Command of PC and mainframe hardware/software- Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements- Proficiency in programming languages- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Versatile project planning abilities that include project costing techniques- Foundational knowledge in REST Soap- Proven knowledge of Soap-Based Web Services- Knowledge of Mule ESB- Consuming Web Services experience highly desired- MuleSoft experience- Code Review experience Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
