DescriptionLocal Financial institution is looking for a ACH/Fraud Coordinator to join their team in Midland, Texas. This is a temporary to full-time position that will report directly to the Vice President of Treasury.As the ACH/Fraud Coordinator you will be responsible for:Manage ACH and direct all internal and external security and loss prevention resources to reduce oreliminate losses from all sources.Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Development and supervision of fraud department. Fraud department is responsible for researchingfraud activity ranging from check fraud to ACH fraud to online fraud to wire fraud. Serves as main point of contact with law enforcement in an attempt to recover any losses to thebank. Development and supervision of the ACH department. ACH department handles all ACHtransactions. Delegate day to day operations to ACH and Fraud staff. Responsible for assisting the manager of the Treasury Department with various projects. Perform related duties as assigned.RequirementsSkills and Abilities Required Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Strong ability to work well under pressure, multi-task exceptionally, produce quality workwithin a narrow window of time, and learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities Strong communication skills to effectively convey information with people outside theorganization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and otherexternal sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone ore-mail. Ability to accurately enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain obtained information inwritten or electronic/magnetic form. Leadership, management, investigation and negotiation skills Initiate and manage projects that will affect other departments and functions, as well as thecorporate environment Basic knowledge of accounting, auditing, compliance processes and their interaction withthe security function Intermediate knowledge of personal computer operation and use of basic business computertools.(Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Data entry, Internet)Certification/Education and Experience College degree preferred AAP Certification preferred, or a minimum of three years with direct experience in ACH Fraud Certification preferred, or a minimum of three years with direct experience in fraud.Accountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
