Assistant Controller (Orange)

Reporting to the Controller, this role will own the GL, large volumes of A/R and reconcile 50+ balance sheet Accounts. Every day will be an opportunity to learn new skills, face new challenges and grow professionally with an organization that will support initiative, drive and management acumen.This role is proudly based in Orange, TX and desires a candidate who is or is willing to be based in Orange.Primary Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable: Collections, reconciliation to GL, credit references, proper set up of customers into billing software, good customer relationshipsGeneral Ledger: GL ownership for company including review of all transactions, monthly close and bank reconciliationsFinancial Reporting: Prepare weekly management reports, ad hoc reporting for branch managers/senior management, prepare month end for Controller review, Reconcile all BS accountsAnnual Budgets: Assist controller with preparation of annual budgets, utilize various accounting software to enter budget informationSkills and Requirements:CPA preferredBachelor?s Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 6 years accounting/finance experience (A/R and GL experience highly recommended)Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Office, Accounting Software, Avionte
