Job Title: Inventory

Controller ILocation: New Braunfels, TexasSummary: This position is responsible providing

material control services which include: providing prime unit service to

assembly lines and sub-assembly operations, release of parts from vendors,

produce monthly audit sheets, perform final verification of raw materials,

component parts and/or products received; and, assign or convey the items to

designated area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the

following. Other duties may be

assigned.

Perform final verification of raw materials, component parts and /or products.

Signs or secures signature for received or shipped materials and makes proper notifications.

Completes all steps necessary to maintain accurate records of stock disposition.

Observes for and documents all damaged materials.

Coordinate the return of rejected or damaged parts.

Maintains the appropriate level of stock inventory.

Complete and maintain vendor releases as assigned to support production schedule while keeping inventory to a minimum.

Communicate with and release parts from vendors by phone, e-mail or fax as necessary.

Determines and affixes identifying information to products such as stock numbers.

Produce accurate cycle count audit sheets of designated parts at designated times.

Assist in maintaining stock location system, stock area organization and inventory processes to keep excess inventory to a minimum.

Responsible for all work in process including inventory locations, storage, count, and movement of product.

Unload tanker trucks or railcars as assigned.

Handles materials to and from designated areas and workstations.

Manual loading and unloading of raw material, component parts and or product as necessary.

Routes and safely operates material transporting equipment as necessary to move material or products to designated areas.

Verify counts, part numbers, serial numbers, lot numbers and block units as necessary.

Takes accurate readings of storage silos or tanks and obtains material samples as required.

Assist in keeping work area neat, clean and organized.

Coordinate training sessions with all Inventory Controllers.

Supports and maintains a safe workplace, including observing all safety rules.

Supports Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

2 –6 months warehouse experience preferred

Strong mathematical skills

Must be able to occasionally lift 30 lbs. repeatedly

Must maintain neat appearance

Must be flexible in working overtime, different shifts and weekends

Must be a Coleman trained forklift/clamp lift licensed operator

Must withstand exposure to heat and cold

Detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational skills
