BravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a Senior Information Security Analyst for our preferred client in their Central Texas location. The qualified candidate will have 5+ years of InfoSec experience and strong communication skills.

SUMMARY: With limited supervision, responsible for monitoring and responding to security events. Responsible for assisting with monitoring, operation & administration of enterprise security systems. Work with management & other IT personnel to put policies, procedures and technologies in place to ensure Company networks, systems & business data are protected from unauthorized access or destruction & applicable compliance is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties beyond this representative listing may be assigned to the essential job duties and responsibilities of this position based on Company needs.

Design and monitor events/alerts from various security, system, network and cloud tools; respond to security incidents & directs technical support staff to resolve them; report critical & serious incidents to management.

Determine log requirements and ensure appropriate logs are being collected & analyzed

Lead and participate in established processes designed to identify security vulnerabilities with networks & systems; work with other IT resources to ensure they are addressed promptly.

Develop and implement scripts to automate and streamline common information security processes as well as to provide tool integration

Develop and implement cyberhunting processes including training infosec personnel the new processes

Assess vendor products for new implementations as well as coordinate vendor support of information security hardware/software/systems/services.

Work with IT project teams on security requirements and implementation of security controls

Participate in identity & access management processes; develop & monitor controls & reports non-routine events for both user accounts & access privileges.

Assist in monitoring & managing system health of all assigned systems; evaluate & report on their availability, performance & capacity.

Document system configuration & support information & ensure it is available to technical support staff at all times, including at the system recovery staging site.

Provide advanced support for issues escalated from Helpdesk to the Information Security team

Train/develop peers & support staff in incident management & troubleshooting for assigned systems; occasionally works extended hours and/or nights and weekends.

Understand & comply with all departmental policies & procedures for incident, request, change & systems monitoring/management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Requires a bachelor' s degree plus a minimum of four years relevant experience. Additional experience and/or certification may be considered in lieu of the formal educational requirements.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: None required, although relevant industry and/or vendor certifications such as a GCIH or GCIA will be considered a plus.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence and analysis documents. Ability to speak effectively and present to groups.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply reason and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to identify and analyze problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and formulate the appropriate solutions.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work effectively with MS Office and other productivity software to document and communicate with others. Ability to respond to questions and concerns from management and other employees. Ability to translate technical terms and concepts into business benefits and present to management and business units. IND123
