Position: Mechanical Technician / Fluid Technician
Work Location: Midland, TX in USA
Job Summary:
ZL Chemicals Ltd. is seeking some Mechanical Technicians to join us to provide field services to our customers in oil industry. Successful candidates should have basic knowledge of mechanical engineering and have the abilities of handling routine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of field equipment. The candidate should be willing to work on shift.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Performs routine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of the equipment.
· Completes administrative documents and forms required by the company and other regulating agencies and maintains up to date maintenance records.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and follow the operating discipline and procedures.
· Carry out work assignments to highest quality level.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent. Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering is an asset.
· A minimum of 1 year working experience as the similar role.
· Must have knowledge of mechanical engineering including equipment operations, maintenance and repairs.
· Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.
· Ability to speak, read, and write English to interpret equipment manuals, service notices, and related data.
· Must be organized and proficient in record keeping.
· Possess a valid driver’s license.
· Excellent communication skills and have team spirit
· Be self-motivated and has ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
· Willing to work on shift (12 hours/day, 2 weeks on and 1 week off).
