Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Wellbore Navigation Specialist.

JOB SUMMARY The WNS is expected to thoroughly understand measurement-while-drilling principles and how to apply them. Essential duties include tool preparation and maintenance, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control. The WNS should be able to operate the MWD tool with minimal supervision and respond to client inquiries efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct pre-job planning, installation of surface sensors, assembly/configuration/testing tools, and all rig-up activities to ensure all equipment works correctly before performing the job.
  • Deliver real-time or recorded data of MWD/LWD services (Survey Reports, Gamma Ray Data Logs) during drilling operations as per client requirements.
  • Maintain and organize tools/equipment run records, daily chronological reports, end-of-well reports, client invoices, and shipping tickets.
  • Perform troubleshooting, evaluating, and maintaining on-field equipment and prepare detailed reports when problems arise.
  • Assist in ensuring company assets on location are maintained in good working order and are protected from damage, and ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are always present at well sites.
  • Promote and adhere to all company HSE policies and practices.
  • Conduct all business activities by the company code of conduct, policies, and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field as an MWD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Available to be on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Valid drivers license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree preferred.
