We are seeking journeyman and apprentice plumbers and commercial pipefitters familiar with carbon steel, Victaulic and copper piping to work on a new hospital in Lubbock, starting asap. Working 40 hours a week now but will be ramping up to 50-60 hours per week as the job moves forward. $85/day in per diem (hotels in the area are less than $350/week). The project will last 2-4 months.
Must haves:
1. Valid journeyman or apprentice plumber’s license in the state of Texas for plumbers.
2. Valid identification proving right to work in the US—examples: state or government issued photo ID/driver’s license, passport, social security card, driver’s license, etc.
3. Plumber’s or Fitter’s Tools (cordless impact included) and PPE (hard hat, glasses, fluorescent vestal/shirt, gloves, steel toed boots).
4. Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
5. Reliable transportation to get to and from the job on time, everyday. Frequent lateness and/or absences will be grounds for termination from the project.
