HIRING PAINTERS AND PAINTER HELPERSODESSA, TXRush OverlandPAINTER OR PAINTER HELPERProvide professional surface preparation, priming, and coatings application (epoxy, paint, polyuria, etc.) for customers in a timely fashion with top quality results. Technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to produce a quality product are vital for achieving maximum success in this position due to numerous variations of today's vehicle design and construction. Must be able to work and communicate well with others, maintain a good work attitude, work well under pressure, be self-motivated and cost-minded. In addition, he/she must be able to work at a high energy level and must be able to meet crucial deadlines. This position contributes to the corporate goals in the areas of quality, service, profit, and operating efficiency.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare surfaces for coating.Identify materials, determine which supplies are needed for each job, and operate equipment.Ensure interior protection by covering windows and door openings as needed.Ensure all related parts for the vehicle are in the paint shop prior to paint.All safety related items, Personal Protective Equipment, must be worn as necessary.Maintain a clean and organized area.Practice safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment according to safety policies and procedures.FOR PAINTERS ONLY:Apply specific coating utilizing the appropriate equipment.Operate painting or coating equipment.REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Must work independently and as a member of the team.FOR PAINTERS ONLY:One to two years work-related skill, knowledge, hands-on experience or vocational training preferred.Paint or body shop experience strongly preferred. Commercial painting or coating application experience for 1 year also preferred.OCCASIONAL DUTIES:Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, clean work areas, or assist in other divisions as necessary when not on assignment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.Work in outdoor conditions and enclosed environments.Walk, climb, lift, bend, squat, kneel, grip, reach and pull.Work on hands and knees for several hours a day.Able to perform work while wearing a respirator in a confined space or as otherwise required.CLICK HERE TO APPLY NOW
