Current opportunities available for Medical Surgical unit at CHI St.Luke's- Patients Medical Center. To be considered applicants are asked to submit online the following: application, current resume, current nursing school transcript. Participants must be fully credentialed and verified as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas State Board of Nursing before start of graduate nurse program. Must have less than 12 months of experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing school is preferred Primary RN degree must not be from an online school. Nursing GPA minimum requirement 3.0Position SummaryResponsible for the delivery of excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention and evaluating patient care outcomes. With the staff nurse's professional practice he/she is responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost effectiveness and guest relations. Provide patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.Education: Associates Degrees (ADN) required.Bachelor's Degree of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) as recognized by the Texas State Board of Nursing; BLS and ACLS CertificationAdditional Information
