Covenant Health is seeking a full time Radiologic Assistant with the Plainview Ortho Shared Department at Covenant Medical Group.Job Summary:Under the supervision of a radiologic technologist and the diagnostic supervisor, assist the technologist with the performance of radiologic procedures.Essential Functions:
Provide assistance to the technologist in the set up and performance of radiologic procedures.
Perform film-processing activities such as replenishing film in the supply magazines, replenishing chemicals.
Prepare room for the next procedure and replenish supplies as necessary.
Monitor patients as needed.
Deliver films to the physicians.
Prepare barium; instruct patients on prep and dose patients when necessary.
Transports patients as necessary
Minimum Position Qualifications:Education: H.S.
