Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Job Location: Remote

This is a new, but well established and highly funded group that is focused on designing and developing truly innovative and leading-edge cloud-based solutions, end-to-end. These solutions span the entirety of infrastructure, devops, security and cloud-based applications. They are a multi-cloud team, with a high focus on Azure and design solutions for a wide range of both internal and external clients.

Role: Cloud solutions architect will be responsible for the solution design and the realization of running application workloads on a public cloud. They play a key role working with teams across various Business Units in their cloud migrations to enhance, optimize, and implement cloud solutions. The architect will be responsible for providing technical leadership in connectivity design, refactoring/redesigning application workloads to be cloud-capable, and properly leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) & Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions offered by CSPs. The solutions architect will analyze overall application architecture, provide technical expertise to teams unfamiliar with cloud technologies, and drive/support/deliver towards a multi-cloud strategy.

What you will need to be successful:
  • Strong background and knowledge in the cloud native applications design and architecture, cloud migrations including, rehosting, refactoring, re-platforming, etc in the Azure cloud from on-prem to cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with PaaS and SaaS services.
  • Experience with cloud automation frameworks (such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet) and container-based platforms (such as Kubernetes and Docker)
