Position:Calibration Technician (Parts Analysis Technician)JOB REF#:1000598 Duration:6 Months (Contract)Location:Plano, TX 75024 Rate:Open/Market Rate (W2 Only)

Promotion Assurance & Audit Division is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Parts Analysis Lab Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate electrical parts and materials to specified standards, and/or Requester s criteria.

Daily Responsibilities: Translate test requests into actual sample prep, equipment set up, data collection and reporting. Conduct part and component electrical evaluations to IPC-A-610 standard and other internal standards to ensure the results meet the expectations of the requesting group s specifications. Maintain, comply and support Lab Safety requirements and workplace organization standards. Support others using standardized work methods and machine operating procedures to conduct evaluations. Perform 5S activities to support a Safe and Sustainable workplace.

This role is 100% onsite

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 2+ years testing electrical components in a test lab focusing on part disassembly and components on PCB level microscopy. Experience with inspections and has their IPC-A-610 certification. Microscopy experience Someone who has ability to take measurements and record them. Experience with microscopes and microscope digital photography. Experience writing findings investigation summaries using a provided template and standardize work in MS Excel. Proficient with tools to disassemble electrical samples. Ability to interact with Engineering as well as other technical support groups. Strong Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook Skills (Beginner - Intermediate)
