Full Stack Engineer w/ Andrew Mendoza Background: • JD/Skills: o Familiar with Python and Javascript (both are primary in application stack) ? Django would be great, React would also be great o Several years with Python or Javascript; need solid mid-level • Nice to Haves: o Experience with Docker • Day to Day: o There will be an onboarding process to get Engineers up to speed with development practices o Agile environment -2 week sprints; standups MWF o No existing legacy code, new project they're just getting started with. Will incorporate into normal sprint process o There are senior engineers on the team if there are questions and Andrew is unavailable • Reason for openings: New project, Tim (Treet?) -other manager on request. Building out non-engineering team and have requirements for a new application, need to get the project moving quickly Interview Process: • Andrew will do an initial 30 minute call (available week of 12/28) • Follow up interview with an Engineer for a technical-fit interview Start Date: Would like to get someone started in January Questions: • Do these roles have any differences? • Ability to sit remotely? Remote initially -for foreseeable future. For conversion, they'll be working out of Plano office o Building out engineering team there • Ability to extend or convert? Yes, potential for that!
