Full Time North Dallas, TX no visa sponsorship for this role Mid - Level DevOps Engineer who wants to grow and drive from here Looking for a self-starter to have production environment experience, AWS (everything is there) and CI/CD pipeline w/ Git source control etc. All AWS, deploy to Kubernette (need at least container experience, that is Docker), also on Salesforce but not required. Free to automate the AWS components. DevOps Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the technology delivery stack along with production performance monitoring. Reporting to the Director of IT, the DevOps engineer collaboratively works with all technology teams to research, design and implement innovative CI/CD and monitoring solutions. We are seeking a unique individual that excels working in a fast-paced environment, where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged and production stability and quality is expected. Key is to monitor and optimizing performance. No development work in .Net or C#. Need to be comfortable with DevOps automation tools though. 60% of what he's looking for is technical, 40% is aptitude to be a one person DevOps shop.
Day to Day- Work closely with the development teams to brainstorm, design and implement technical build and deployment solutions
- Work closely with the infrastructure team to introduce provisioning and deployment automation
- Design, implement and support IT architecture using cloud technologies (mostly in AWS and Salesforce)
- Development of tools and other custom components necessary to support full stack development
- Research and integrate third-party tools into the cloud platform to support business needs
- Knowledgeable of a wide range of tools and technologies in software development including GitLab, C#, and AWS (Salesforce knowledge a plus)
- Knowledgeable with the AWS cloud platform, micro-services architecture, CI/CD solutions, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps principles, automation & configuration management tools
- Knowledgeable in Git repository & branching
- Comfortable with higher testing and deployment frequencies (CI/CD)
- Knowledgeable of IT systems and production environment experience
- Experience in performance optimization and monitoring
- Ability to solve non-standard problems with an innovative approach
- Organization and time management skills
- Priority setting and handling
- A self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and relationship building skills. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 2-3 years of DevOps experience
