< class="clearfix">Job DescriptionThe Senior Network Engineer will need to manage all aspects of the project including vendors and consultants to achieve goals on network projects with an enthusiastic willingness to contribute. The Senior Network Engineer must have rich experience managing enterprise networks, architecture design, implementation, migration, and operation management, which may involve the following technologies: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Audio Visual, Voice systems, Server/Storage/Backup systems, etc.The successful candidate must demonstrate expert-level MS Office skills with tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge or expertise in MS Project and/or Visio is a nice to have. They also must be able to gather IT requirements, build and manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and create status reports.

Essential Functions:1)Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders and key Business users.2)Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project & stakeholders involve ensuring consistency in reaching the project's goal.3)Works closely with the users and technology workstreams to identify requirements.4)Prepares cost estimates for staff resources, vendors, consultants, hardware, and service costs (i.e. WAN, Internet, voice circuits, etc.) 5)Develop project plans, define team deliverables, and supervise the work of various team members.6)Conduct all aspects of project initiation, planning, execution, and closure for projects. 7)Manage issues, risks, change controls, and status reporting.8)Provide technical insights and advice to customer stakeholders for the project&rsquo;s planning & execution. 9)Support project sponsors and the team to communicate, report, and collaborate with Toyota&rsquo;s counterpart departments in Japan.10)Applies project management methodologies (i.e. SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.) and best practices as directed by senior management or that are most appropriate for the project.11)Supervises technical resources, including contingent workers, associates, and 3rd party vendor staff as appropriate. 12)Oversee IT installations on-site (may require travel)13)Plans team members work assignments and schedules, and guides and monitors work performance.14)Communicates project status regularly to the management and project stakeholders.15)Provide decision support for project sponsors, decision-makers, and stakeholders involved in related projects. Define & maintain roadmaps detailing workstreams for continuous improvement. 16)Prepare closing documents, and ensure smooth transitions to Operations Teams and local IS Teams17)Improve project performance via regular status reporting and executive reviews. Investigate specific performance issues and communicate early warning signs of risk. Enforce consistent performance reporting guidelines to make reporting efficient for stakeholders.18)Recognize any potential opportunities, risks, or complications at the customer side. Inform to TTS-US upper management to make action plans for TTS-US to expand its business opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on work within large-scale enterprise networking environments.
  • Fundamentals of Networking and demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
  • Good level understanding of TCP/IP routing and switching, along with network design best practices (CCNP Level)
  • Good level understanding of dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.), Network Security, Switching topologies on both Wired/Wireless networks, and Cloud/Virtual networking. (CCNP Level)
  • Experience writing technical specifications is recommended.
  • Ability to interface with business areas and effectively translate business needs into technology-based business solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to keep abreast of new technological and or/procedural developments and demonstrate knowledge and expertise with software tools and an ability to evaluate solutions.
  • Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity.
  • Strong leadership, planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
