SR Manager, Cloud Solution Architecture

The Senior Manager, Cloud Solution Architecture will be responsible for end-to-end integrated solution design and architecture for cloud native applications and applications moving from on-premise to public cloud for a fortune 100 clients Corporate & Global Functions and Global Data & Analytics. This role is part of their Acceleration & Cloud Office - a multi-discipline team responsible for architecting and delivering secure, robust, and innovative solutions which would enable the development teams to build and deploy new applications as well as migrate selected existing applications into the public cloud. The candidate will work alongside Enterprise Solution Architecture and Infrastructure engineering teams to develop cloud solutions. The Cloud Solution Architect will be part of the team responsible for infrastructure migration to cloud as well as to support key operational aspects like availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and integration of on-prem and public cloud infrastructure with focus on building self-service tools and automation. Develop cloud solution architecture patterns and standards that comply with platform standards defined by cloud engineering. Build and deploy logical and physical architecture. Participate in cloud solution architecture review boards across sectors to review, govern and approve solutions. Perform application portfolio analysis for PBNA & PFNA to identify candidate applications and workloads for migration to the Cloud. Provide architecture guidance in the interaction with business users and migration teams to plan, develop, improve and maintain complex data tier technology standards. Incorporate architecture standards and patterns defined by Enterprise Solution Architecture and Cloud Engineering team to define cloud solution design and migration patterns. Partner with Cloud Engineering on Cloud Strategy, Cloud technology and architecture efforts, Cloud deployments, as well as Cloud migrations and portfolio migration to the Cloud. Drive all technical design and execution activities for moving existing on-premise infrastructure, server workloads, data and applications to the cloud IaaS and PaaS architectures. Lead the efforts on application modernization as workloads are moved to the cloud. Assist application and migration teams in designing cloud solutions incorporating security principles and best practices to ensure designs are in accordance with data security and governance principles. Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security. Responsible for designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation. Work closely with Cloud Engineering team on cloud standards, patterns, and reference architecture. Communicate and socialize design and architecture design decisions. Interact and work with application and business team members to provide the optimal environment for applications to deliver business functionality. Introduce and develop Infrastructure automation in the environment including IAC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management. Deliver technical architecture design and review using Well-Architected Framework. Design efficient, secure, adaptable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions (data, networking, application)
