Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a End User Computing Engineer to join their Information Technology team providing technical support for growing IT end user computing needs. This is a contract role that operates onsite at their Plano, Texas office. Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and commuter benefits.

An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, personable, have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and an unrelenting drive to implement effective solutions.Responsibilities:- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management tools
- Deploy and sustain the systems and applications directly to support their technology needs of employees
- Collaborate with talented and driven technology professionals to deliver solutions built primarily on the Microsoft technologies.
- Provide excellent customer support and quickly learn new technologies
- Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience with 2+ years supporting, implementing, or architecting end user systems in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems, and cyber security
- Experience supporting MDM/MAM solutions
- Availability for night and weekend on-call work as well as light travel
- Knowledge of desktop and server hardware, including performance optimization
- Fundamental knowledge of IP networking, routing, and system security
- Experience utilizing PowerShell in management of systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong customer service experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, and Domains
- Proven technical documentation skills
- Insatiable level of technical curiosity
- Must be physically able to lift and carry computers and other related equipment of up to 50 lbs.
- Programming and scripting languages such as Python and or PowerShell
- Scripting / programming knowledge is a must
- Knowledge of coding best-practices and version control
- Knowledge of configuration management systems using SCCM, Tanium or Ivanti
- Exposure to ServiceNow and or other ticketing system
- Experience managing projects including milestones and target completion dates
- Knowledge of imaging solutions such as Windows Deployment Services and System Center Configuration Manager
- Exposure to software deployment tools
- Software management including repackaging, scripted installations, and deployment
- Ability to lead technical training, both one-on-one and in group sessions
- MCP/MCSE/CCNA or equivalent a plus
- Experience in high pressure environments
- Ability to coach and mentor early career engineers
- Passion for technology and desire to stay informed of the latest trends and best practices
- Proven troubleshooting methodology and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage an active task list and consistently meet deadlines
