We are unable to sponsor as this is a permanent full time roleA prestigious company is on the search for an Informatica/Jenkins/Artifactory Application Support Specialist. This company is looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience with supporting these technologies. They also need someone with 2 years of experience building, deploying and maintaining applications in an AWS environment. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your team to find solutions
- Enhance user experience
- Advise users on best practices of the tool you support or guide them to a tool that would better meet their needs
- Assist with implementation of large-scale upgrades/deployments
- Build key automation to support both administrative and user activities
- Participate in setting team goals on a quarterly basis
- Identify and document risks
- Document and update best practices, standard operating procedures and lessons learned to help fellow team members
- Learn how to plan/build/deploy/maintain applications within a Cloud environment
- Provide input and direction on improving established processes
- Provide first and second level support for external and internal customers
- Prioritize, diagnose and manage customer reported issues
- Prepare and review written documentation
- Participate in installations/upgrades of Informatica/Artifactory/Jenkins
- Report on and track feature requests and problems with third party vendors
- Monitor the health, reliability and performance of already implemented solutions, detecting issues quickly and driving quality improvement over time
- Implement development and design patters that enable the next generation of service infrastructure
- Support an ecosystem of continuous delivery pipeline tooling, through integration and automation
- 2-4 years of experience providing application support for Informatica, Artifactory or Jenkins
- 2 years of experience building, deploying and maintaining applications in an AWS environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Agile and other project techniques
- Able to develop and maintain documentation required to support server infrastructure for the tool(s) you support
- Strong communications (written and verbal), in coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure
- Ability to adhere to and enforce company and department processes, standards and controls on security, change management and risk
- Some experience working with Jira and Confluence tools
